While the duvet is very soft and colourful, unfortunately the image has the odd pixel problem. For example, part of the black orca has a pixelated gray. Another killer whale is twisted and doesn’t look real. My kids just find the quality of the photo very offensive and funny. It’s like a cheap piece of AI art. Too bad it was bought as a Christmas present. Younger children may not care or notice, but my kids are very into digital art, etc., and immediately notice flaws.

There is no need to buy a duvet cover separately. It has three pillowcases. Two normal size boxes, the smaller one about the size of a decorative sofa cushion. It’s a cute little accessory that comes with the set. The quilt is nice and cool and can be put on it for summer or winter. It’s standard, not too thin. My 5 year old son loves it and it’s by far my favorite bed set I’ve ever bought him. It has a flat sheet and a fitted sheet. We’ve been using it for a few months and it’s as good as new. Like I said, it’s good quality and we haven’t had any problems. The bunk bed I bought is a queen size and can be washed in the washing machine. Highly recommend

But the cover I received was grey with a huge brocade print on it and black on the cover of the duvet. The pillowcases are all printed in different sizes, so they don’t match at all. If you look closely at the seller’s photo, you may see that the photo is elongated, but the cover is folded over to hide the sun, so it’s hard to tell that it’s actually an elongated oval! (Maybe too warped is the worse size for a twin, which is what we got).

The first thing I want to say is that my son loves it. He’s a kid who plays games and likes soft blankets. While I was glad he liked it, I had some concerns myself. I noticed it was light, so he still slept under a blanket. And only one side is colored and the other is white, which is not ideal for children.

It’s for my son’s 11th birthday because he’s still using a superhero suit from 5 years ago. It’s very soft, shipped without the chemical smell from the manufacturing process, and once we open the package, it fluffs up beautifully, as it appears. The only thing I will say is that it’s not as long as the other comforters we’ve used, so it only fits about two inches under the foot of the mattress. It won’t stop us from using it, but I would definitely like it more if it were 4-6 inches longer.

We haven’t put it on the bed yet because it was part of our son’s birthday surprise, which was a new bed, mattress frame, etc. But the bedding is beautiful and I like it so far. Because it’s vacuum-sealed, it needs to be lightly patted loose on arrival, but it regained some volume almost immediately after opening the package, so I don’t think this will be a big problem.

First of all, it’s a duvet. You also need to buy an insert for the cover. Boys love these! I bought a box of fabric markers and they colored them to make it more personal/fun. A more affordable and fun alternative to Caden Lane. My only problem is that both of my double beds only have one pillowcase. It’s not fake, although there are two covers on the picture. Overall, it was a great value, and it kept the boys busy with coloring their own blankets. I will update my comment once I see how it stays in the wash
