However, the color of a king-size quilt is nothing like a king-size quilt. King’s quilt is pastel in color and definitely not that bright. I love this bedspread! It’s beautiful, it’s soft (washes it right away), and it’s a big size. I bought king-size for my queen bed because my grandchildren often spend the night here, and they fight over the regular big sheets to cover the covers. I wanted something lightweight so I could easily throw it in the washing machine and only have a limited drying time in the dryer. Most quilts take a long time to dry, and then you have to fluff them up during the cycle to allow them to dry evenly. The bedspread dries quickly! Although it is light, its quilting is tight and well done. The fabric is easy to maintain and I’m glad my grandchildren think it’s their bed when they come over to climb it. It’s child-safe, which puts this grandma at ease. Because it’s so cheap, I might want to buy a few more to use in different seasons. I’ve noticed another pattern. Remember, this is not a fluffy and plush quilt. This is a lightweight bedspread. My electric blanket is under it for the winter.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this gift after spending less than $20 on this set! I was expecting cheap shiny motel quality, but it was far from that! We used it in Hawaii, where we didn’t need much to keep warm, and it was perfect. Very lightweight, but if the weather is a little chilly, it’s a perfect addition. I put it under my bed so I can pick it up when I need it. It’s hard at first, but it’s completely soft after one wash. Definitely recommend a casual island look and slight comfort!

It’s in the washing machine now. I wanted to spread it as a winter dark tropical, it’s very beautiful but cheap!! Tonight I will be putting it on top of my summer weight (actually made from cotton batting and machine sewn) quilt. It is indeed beautiful, but it is a pity that their (American manufacturers) interpretation of “quilting” is different from actually stitching together the batting between the two pieces of fabric!! I kept it due to the low price, but if you think this is quilted, it isn’t, quilting is at…. There is no hit on the drawing. These are two very thin pieces of fabric that are probably glued together, because they are certainly not sewn together. Now that I have it, I’ve noticed warning…. Frequent returns…. Buyer beware…

It doesn’t fit you, so when you move it awkwardly, it sticks up in the air, chilling you and making you miss the old blanket you changed into.

The quilt and upper are beautiful – I love the pattern and bright colors, just like in the picture. But as many critics have said, the fabric is tough. I tried rinsing it in the washing machine, then put it in the dryer with a cloth dampened with vinegar and fabric softener, as some suggested. It makes the quilt slightly less stiff, but it still feels “soft”! It doesn’t wrinkle: it bends and is more like canvas than regular quilt fabric. I’ve never touched such hard fabric. But it’s so beautiful, I’m gonna keep it. It might look better on the wall! I don’t think you want to sleep under it, there’s no sheet between you and the covers!
